Dan Jeffries is a British composer who combines his background in experimental music and electronic sound design to create bold, contemporary and thought-provoking music.

He has recently scored the landmark Disney+ drama Suspect: The Shooting of Jean Charles de Menezes. Other recent credits include scoring documentaries The Body Next Door (Sky) and the forthcoming James Wan horror docu-dramas Eerie Hall and This House Murdered Me (Netflix). He has also written additional music for dramas Black Mirror (Netflix), Silent Witness (BBC) and DCI Banks (ITV).

After growing up in the desolate fens of east anglia, playing in bands and wanting to record all the others, Dan studied composition with groundbreaking electronic pioneer Trevor Wishart. This lead to a decade of writing music for theatre across London and New York, being nominated for two Off West End awards.

Dan is now rapidly making his mark in Film & Television, through his ability to combine a knowledge of experimental techniques with a deep understanding of narrative and storytelling.
